Entry is free.

What period do these awards cover?

Judges will be looking for outstanding examples of best practice and innovation during the 2018-2019 academic year. Submissions based on projects that commenced prior to the 2018-2019 academic year, are accepted provided that success of the project(s) have been recorded during this period.

Who can enter?

The awards are open to all international schools.

How do I know if my school is eligible to be nominated for an International School Award?

Schools are eligible to participate in the International School Awards if they are an English-medium K-12 international school. For the purposes of these awards, this means if the school delivers a curriculum to any combination of pre-school, primary or secondary students, wholly or partly in English outside an English-speaking country. Or, if a school is in a country where English is one of the official languages, it offers an English-medium curriculum other than the country’s national curriculum and the school is international in its orientation.

When is the closing date for entries?

Please send your completed application form, photos and video to applications@iscresearch.com

No later than Friday 27th September 2019, any applications after this date will not be accepted.

When will I find out if we have been shortlisted?

All schools shortlisted for an award will be notified by email on or before 30th November.

How are the entries judged?

An independent panel of education and international school experts select the winners.

When are the winners announced?

Announcement of the winners will be made at the gala ceremony on Monday 20th January 2020 at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms, London.

What do schools win?

Each shortlisted school receives a logo that they can use on their website and stationery that shows their shortlisting in a particular category. This alone is very useful for marketing to potential parents as a sign of quality. Shortlisted schools also receive complimentary tickets to the gala event held at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms, London. Should they win, they will be presented with a trophy and will be considered for the prestigious International School of the Year award.
